High School
at first I thought
" This is going to be so awesome! "
, but turns out that it's not so awesome
You just go to your classes , eat lunch ,
then go to your classes . And as for friends
they drift away....they ask for your number , but
they never call. You message them , but they
don't reply. When they hug you it doesn't
feel the same , you don't
feel the love and warmth
like you did before. when they
say hi it's not with the
same excitement and joy that's
always in there voice .
People change...
They meet other people and
make new friends .
Trust ends up evaporating like water ,
Secrets are never spoken of ,
and all your ever left with is memories.
For some people it may be a different story ,
but this is how mine goes.
And as for the people they should
know who they are.....well thank
you for reading ,

High school hasn't turned out the way I planned.
Before it was like, "High school, oh boy, I can't wait!"
But now that I know the real deal,
I want to go back.
Time just passed by too quickly,
and now I feel foolish for taking advantage of it.
High school is no joke.
This is why they say, "be careful of what you wish for"
'cause you just might get it...
And friends ?
whatever happened to them ?
One minute you're sharing laughs with them,
next minute, they're off with a new best friend,
and they forget all about you.
You were just their middle school friend,
and now that they're in high school, there's no need for you
anymore. So now you're left with nothing but memories.
High school ... what a turn-off
